I am fascinated by storytellers. I like to keep the magic alive. Using a special spirit to have people listen and to fill their eyes with sparkles. Fascination. Tension. Drama. Emotions that big, they reach for the sky. There is no limit. Anything is possible. I enjoy confetti rain. I love anything that has a story. People, who are special personalities, who are pure and real, got something to say. Objects, nature, all living beings – it all got a story to share. We can find a history in anything if we pay attention. All this connected with joy and sorrow. The marvelous magic moments. It is great when a story can touch a heart and a soul, when it adds a big smile to your face or drown your eyes in tears.

It teases your fantasies. It touches you deeply. It’s fragile, nothing to hold on to. It is just a small capture of the perfect conditions. The perfect little story. Fading. It leaves you behind with an impression. That will stick with you. Bookmarked. As you are part of it too.

How about choosing some special pictures and let’s see how they make us feel and what we think? Is there a special mood or tension captured? Can we come up with a short story? Something that touches or inspires us? I’d love to give it a try and I really hope you’d like to join me. I will choose and post pictures regularly, and if you are up for it, please leave a comment or even pick it up in your blog and leave a link for it. I think it actually might be fun to do this on a regular basis and if we have more posts it should be interesting to compare how differently we see photograph, if we connect or don’t… We’ll start this project with two pictures to have an option.

Please let me know how you feel about it. Are you joining us?

OF THE FIRST IMAGE: I see the hand reaching up to grab a beautiful and shiny bobble. What will she grab; which one? What will she do with it? Will she hang it up to adore? Will she put it away to hang during a holy day? Will she display it along with other trinkets she loves to see every day as she comes and goes? This is a cool image. So many many things to reach for.

THE SECOND IMAGE: Glass reflecting what is outside while it lets one see on the inside. I notice there is also a glass window on the back wall behind the front glass window, and you can see outside that window…all the way from the front, through the inside and through the back window and beyond that. The Front glass window is also a mirror. Unlike a true mirror, however…it is transparent. This, could be, an honest soul…who, in her own refuge that sees out while others outside are allowed to see in and also see themselves…and those that peer in from the outside can also see where from the soul they see inside the shelter…can see where the abiding soul came from.

What a beautiful exercise, and thank you so much for allowing your readers to participate on your site. It’s a beautiful site hosted by a beautiful soul.

Thank you Ian. I love your perspective on the world and your words. I’m happy and am spoiled (in a positive way) that you do support me that much. I am always keen to hear from your end!
As far as the windows is concerned – I loved your comparision. I love the idea you saw it as a sincere soul. I truely love that picture.

The stories I had on my mind were creepy, if I’m honest 😉

Those images were so dynamic! I actually imagined you saw a great deal of possibility in both. How could it be otherwise?

Creepy is totally acceptable. It could be morbid, it could be funny, it could be sad or frightening…it could be revealing…or hidden; periphery or direct. It could be anything…even change moment to moment.

If I’d seen those images a few days ago, I likely would have responded differently, but YOUR site begs for love, peace joy and beauty, and so…in your site, that is what I saw in those images.

Creepy? Eh…some people have a morbid fascination with death, sorrow and pain. I actually Knew a nurse years and years ago who was also a mortician, and she was also a hospice nurse because she was totally comfortable with death…she was also a vegan, and the thought of cruelty to animals sparked her rage. She actually broke into a animal lab and freed animals once. And got arrested.

What’s in a picture? (Shrug). I told you what I saw. If you see creepy in the images, then what I see is still the same…but then I’d also see what you see, too…so then I see more then I would see all on my own.

    GREAT POST!

thanks so much for your time and effort. I’m totally down with you, Ian. And let me share a little secret with you here: pssst, yes, I am mainly sweet and loveable. But this only works for me, because I am well balanced. I do have my dark side too and that little devil dancing on my shoulder. So yes, I sometimes see creepy stuff as well. And certainly, this changes depending on ym mood, circumstances and so on. Therefor I thought it would be a great idea to share pictures and find out what people see in it. I hope to get more feedback so that it may become something regular.

I’ve been to the movies today and saw “Toy Story”. Now imagine all the parts in the picture would have an inner life to an extent and would start moving… creepy, isn’t it. Especially in connection with the window. Who is watching us when we don’t expect it?!

On the other hand I see the attempt to save parts of life, to make it last for more generations. And the window will help us to get a deep and clear view inside and outside. So this is a very positive perspective too.

    The beauty of pure life!
