As I dove into this project, my excitement overflowed. My mind was bursting with ideas and I couldn’t wait to unleash them all. Creating a painting that truly embodies me was the ultimate goal. I knew it would take time and layer upon layer to come to life. Throughout the process, I cherished some parts from the get-go, still it demanded patience. Sadly, I couldn’t preserve every intricate detail; some got lost within the layers. Yet, it pulsates with vibrancy and life. It was a continual dance of creation and transformation.

It evolved with every stroke and added detail. However, there were moments when the spark wasn’t quite there. Many parts just didn’t resonate with me. Naturally, impatience and doubts crept in. I took a step back, allowed ideas to simmer and grew alongside it. I added countless details to craft a sprawling mixed media artwork.

There was this plain, uninspiring canvas waiting for it’s moment of magic. I splashed acrylic colors, danced with chalk, doodling with a pencil, layered patches, sprayed with abandon, adorned with glass beads, gilded with gold leaf, feathered with feathers, layered with magazine paper, loved structure and crackling paste and so much more.

What truly sets it apart – I embarked on a profound journey of healing through art and love. I put myself together again and rediscovered myself: all these diverse elements and ingredients blend to reveal the essence of me!

Als ich mich in dieses Projekt stürzte, überwältigte mich die Vorfreude. Mein Geist war voller Ideen, und ich konnte es kaum erwarten, sie alle freizusetzen. Ein Gemälde zu kreieren, das mich wirklich verkörpert, war das ultimative Ziel. Ich wusste, dass es Zeit und Schicht um Schicht brauchen würde, um zum Leben zu erwachen. Im Laufe des Prozesses habe ich manche Teile von Anfang an geschätzt, dennoch erforderte es Geduld. Leider konnte ich nicht jedes feine Detail bewahren; einige gingen in den Schichten verloren. Es ist Energie voll, sprudelnd, lebendig. Es war ein fortwährender Tanz der Schöpfung und Transformation.

Es entwickelte sich mit jedem zusätzlichen Detail. Trotzdem gab es Momente, in denen der Funke bei mir nicht übersprang. Diverse Bereiche im Bild sprachen einfach nicht zu mir. Natürlich schlichen sich Ungeduld und Zweifel ein. Ich trat einen Schritt zurück, ließ Ideen köcheln und wuchs damit. Ich fügte unzählige Details hinzu und gestaltete ein ausladendes Mixed-Media-Kunstwerk.

Da war diese schlichte, langweilige Leinwand, die auf ihren magischen Moment wartete. Ich spritzte Acrylfarben, tanzte mit Kreide, kritzelte mit einem Bleistift, schichtete Patches, sprühte ungezügelt, schmückte mit Glasperlen, vergoldete mit Blattgold, befiederte mit Federn, schichtete mit Magazinpapier, ergänzte mit Bruch-Paste und vieles mehr.

Was es wirklich auszeichnet – ich befand mich währenddessen auf einer tiefgreifenden Reise der Heilung durch Kunst und Liebe. Ich habe mich neu zusammengefügt und entdeckt: all diese vielfältigen Elemente und Zutaten vermischen sich, um die Essenz von mir zu offenbaren!
