The Storm || Haiku

Forces of nature
And fragile human beings
Unpredictable

Naturgewalten
Und empfindliche Menschen
Unvorhersehbar

I listen to the sound of the storm and it scares me. A present scream of mother nature that keeps humans inside their houses. I looked at the sun, even the light was weird. In the media a warning of a big storm came up repeatedly. I’ve never been in a similar situation. I listen to the sounds of my surrounding. It’s ear-piercing. The birds outside vanished.

I can’t do anything but wait and listen… putting humans in context with anything else, I sometimes feel meaningless. I know, there is something bigger out there.
