The Last Days Of Summer
Leaves painted in various shades of
Gold, red and yellow
Sunshine fulfills with sparkling glitter
Above, majestic blue sky
A warm breeze softly tells us good bye
I hear geese and ducks leaving to fly
Flying South, numerous dots in the sky
Excited I‘m listening to them calling each other
Getting in line on their journey towards the sun
Time to leave
I wished, I‘d be flying South too and wave good bye
Getting ready for fall and winter to come along
Bye-bye summer, see you next year around
