It’s wonderful being part of the blogging community and being surrounded by interesting people, who got something to share…. please meet Beth: https://pilgrimage.studio

What is the Mystery Blogger Award?

Mystery Blogger Award is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion. – Okoto Enigma

  • Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question (specify)
  • Share a link to your best post(s)

3 things about myself that did not appear in my blog before:

|| Reading
I started reading books at the age of Twenty. Earlier, I never really was into it. Even at school I cheated if it came to reading… I only read what ever was nessesary and paid attention during classes. This first book I read -becauses I wanted to- was a Buddhist book by Ajahn Sumedho „The Mind and the way“, the second one was „The Geisha“ by Arthur Golden followed up by „Olivia and Jay“ by Rebecca Ryman. I love well told lovestories and I love books that are inspiring and/or make me think and feel. Wanna start a conversation with me!? …introduce me to the book that influenced you most.

|| Cooking
I love cooking. I am torn as on the one hand I love pure tastes, great ingredients and sometimes it’s great to keep it simple but explosive, on the other hand I love fusion kitchen, using the best of different countries, combining it and having a lot of different flavors and spices mixed. I really enjoy having friends over for dinner.

|| Jobs
I earned my first money in different kinds of jobs such as: dropping off newspapers, babysitting, cleaning houses, working in a sausage factory, working in a factory and wrapping up medicine, talkshows, bakery…

The 5 questions given to me and my answers:

What inspires you?
Love always have been my biggest inspiration, the older I get, it is the beauty and grimace of life as well.

Favorite food to cook?
Actually I like being challanged as far as cooking is concerned and I do better, when I’m joined by a nice guest, who appreciates food too.

What’s a good tip for people who have a hard time facing the grocery store and shopping? Invite friends over for dinner. Ask them to bring ingredients of their choice and you will cook together. Make it special, an event – celebrate the whole thing.

If you had to live on one food, what is something that is so nutritious, you could survive on just that? I could survive of chickpeas and apples.

Best survival tip? Love yourself and learn to let go.

The Mystery Blogger Award asks for sharing a link to my best post(s)?!

I don’t like judging in general. Further more, by the time I posted my writings, it meant something and it was for that one moment.

I am always curious hearing from you though, if you feel a connection to any of my words. You’re always welcome to reach out for me!

In order to keep it special, I would like to nominate two websites only. I’d love to pass on the Mystery Blogger Award Nomination to the following:

Mrs Poppy of Living in Ponderland
Because I can feel heart and soul in her page, it is very sunny and you see all the effort, the naive, playful and sweet girlie style. I like it.

Wifeblah for life, travel and fishtanks- I always enjoy visiting the website and diving into an ocean of blah – it puts a smile on my face.

Dear nominees, please feel free to be part of the Mystery Blogger Award. I very much would love to pass this award on to you, as I regularly visit your pages and enjoy them a lot. Here are my questions for you:

  • What is your superpower?
  • Is there any book you repetedly love to give away as a present?
  • If you could invent a new machine, what would it be?
  • Is there anything you can’t live without?
  • Give yourself a funny nickname and please describe why?!

Thank you so much for visiting me on MurmelMeister. I appreciate all your comments, questions and inspiration. It is a great experience meeting you out here and sharing something positive. My best wishes are with you.

      Hey Beth, this could be an idea for another blog parade, naming a few ingredients and let people create a meal out of it and write how they made it, maybe even post pictures… interesting for food bloggers. (Too bad I am not.) Nice chatting with you! Inspiring!

    This is soo sweet. Thank you so much! Im sorry for the very late response. I am dealing with a lot of stuff lately. But I will do the challenge for sure, I will save it on my to do list. As a kid I read a lot, at 14 I need to wear eye glasses. Now I’m 33 and my vision is really bad. My mom’s vision is better than me.

    I am happy getting to know you more. I used to love reading, the reason why my eyes are very bad now. 🙂 But now I really don’t have the time, so much things to do too little time. Thank you so much for the nomination. I will add it in my todos so I can do it in the near future. 🙂 I love apples too, but not something I will crave for. I bet you are a good cook!! thank you.
