The perfect perfume is something very personal! If you made the right choice, your perfume underlines your personality and leaves a lasting imprint. People will remember a special smell. it’s captured in their memory and is directly connected with you.

How do you choose your own personal perfume?
3 criterion that needs to be clarified
in order to find the right match:
|| 1st criterion
There are two different seasons for perfume. During summer time you want your perfume to be light and in winter it should be stronger.
|| 2nd criterion
There are at least two different occasion for perfume, that you need to be aware of. A perfume for every day life certainly has to be different than the one you use for very special occasions.
|| 3rd criterion
This is, what makes it special and personal. Think about various categories of words. Who are you? Let’s come up with adjectives to describe you. Is there a lack that needs to be filled? For example if you’re not a brave person and wished to be braver, you might ask for a perfume to support that characteristic. Think about characteristics of who you wanna be. Further which adjectives are of importance to you? It’s easy to come up with 10 to 20 words, isn’t it?! If you like, add your favorite smell or ingredient too. You also may state what you don’t like. Also important: what’s your sexual orientation?
Take all these information to the vendor of a fragrance store and ask for an expertise. That’s when the game and fun is starting. Let the vendor present you different smells and brands. Be open for it, let go. If you finally come to the point of two favorite choices, it’s time to put it on your hands (on one each). Tell the vendor you need time to decide. Leave the store and do something else. I’m sure you will repeatedly smell each of your hands. Do you have a favorite already? If it is not a sure call, you should start over again on a different day. I’m positive, once you found your match, you will know!
Before you buy a new choice please make sure to have none talk you into it. It’s your choice! How do you feel with the new perfume? You’re answer should be your clear decision.

Wie findet man sein persönliches Parfüm?
3 Kriterien, die zu klären sind,
um den richtigen Duftstoff zu finden:
|| 1. Kriterium
Es gibt mindestens zwei verschiedene Jahreszeiten für Parfüm. Im Sommer sollte dein Parfüm leicht und im Winter stärker sein.
|| 2. Kriterium
Es gibt mindestens zwei verschiedene Anlässe für Parfüms, die zu beachten sind. Ein Parfüm für ganz besondere Anlässe muss sich sicherlich von dem unterscheiden, das du für den Alltag verwendest.
|| 3. Kriterium
Das ist es, was es ganz besonders und persönlich macht. Denken wir an verschiedenste Kategorien von Wörtern. Wer bist du? Lass’ uns ein paar Adjektive entwickeln, die dich beschreiben. Hast du eine Schwäche, die zu beheben ist? Wenn du beispielsweise keine mutige Person bist und mutiger sein möchtest, könntest du nach einem Parfüm fragen, das diese Eigenschaft unterstützt. Denke über die Eigenschaften nach, die dir entsprechen. Welche Adjektive sind für dich von Bedeutung? Es ist einfach, 10 bis 20 Wörter zu finden, oder?! Wenn du magst, füge dem auch deinen Lieblingsgeruch oder deine Lieblingszutat hinzu. Du darfst auch benennen, was dir nicht gefällt. Ebenfalls wichtig: wie ist deine sexuelle Orientierung?
Nehme alle diese Informationen mit zu deiner Parfüm-Beratung und fordere das Fachwissen ab. Dann beginnt das Spiel und der Spaß. Lass dir vom Verkaufenden die verschiedene Gerüche und Marken präsentieren. Sei offen dafür, lass los. Wenn du schlussendlich zu zwei bevorzugten Optionen gekommen bist, ist es Zeit diese auf deine Hand zu sprühen (jeweils auf eine). Teil dem Verkaufenden mit, dass du Zeit brauchst, um dich zu entscheiden. Verlasse den Laden und mache etwas anderes. Ich bin sicher, du wirst wiederholt an jeder deiner Hände riechen. Hast du schon einen Favoriten? Wenn es sich nun nicht mit Sicherheit klärt, solltest du an einem anderen Tag von vorne beginnen. Ich bin mir sicher, sobald du dein passendes Perfüm gefunden hast, wirst du es wissen!

This sounds so wonderful. I would love to have a scent made just for me. I love your ideas they are magical. Casmir is the perfume I wore for years. The expensive one. I use to have men follow me to elevators in Seattle to ask me what I was wearing. Women asked me all the time also. However as I got older it didn’t smell hardly at all on me. I guess our chemistry changes. So now, don’t laugh I just spray it on my clothes. Great post. Love ya ❤️Joni

You are so right it is a sad farewell. You do have me very interested in actually pursuing this as my perfume was for me as much as for others. Where does one go to get assistance in preparing a scent for oneself? Can you recommend such a place?
Also if you will indulge me one more question, did it immediately smell right to you once the ingredients were mixed and you tried it on?

You might just type in „creating perfume“ and your area and see what happens. I tried that option once and it is interesting, also very tough. My best choice was going to a very good perfume store, where they have a good choice of everything, instead of mainstream stuff only.
The foundation to this experiment is a selling person, who loves perfume and has great knowledge. You’ll see, it’s a lot of fun for both sides.
The secret of perfume mostly is, that it smells differently on each skin. Usually it’s not the first impression but leaving it on your skin and see what happens. I’m convinced you will feel it! ❤️
