People cling to their faith as if it could save them. Beyond all religious teachings, there is a place of truth where everything converge.

There are times in life, we all need something bigger than ourselves to hold on to.

Zeitlos:

Die Menschen klammern sich an ihren Glauben, als ob er sie retten könnte. Jenseits aller Lehren gibt es einen Ort der Wahrheit, an dem alles zusammenläuft.

Es gibt Zeiten im Leben, in denen wir alle etwas Größeres als uns selbst brauchen, um daran festzuhalten.

Goethe already said back in the days: “And if you were now able to clarify and research all the sources: what would you find? Nothing other than a great truth that has long since been discovered and for which one need not look far for confirmation; The truth is that things have been miserable at all times and in all countries. People have always been afraid and tormented; they tormented and tortured one another; They have made what little life they have sour for themselves and others and have been unable to respect or enjoy the beauty of the world and the sweetness of existence that the beautiful world offers them. Only a few have found it comfortable and enjoyable. Most people, after experiencing life for a while, would rather leave than start again. What gave them or still gives them some attachment to life was and is the fear of dying. That’s the way it is; that’s how it was; It will probably stay that way. That’s just the lot of people. What further testimony do we need?“

Goethe: “Und wenn Sie nun auch alle Quellen zu klären und zu durchforschen vermöchten: was würden Sie finden? Nichts anderes als eine große Wahrheit, die längst entdeckt ist und deren Bestätigung man nicht weit zu suchen braucht; die Wahrheit nämlich, daß es zu allen Zeiten und in allen Ländern miserabel gewesen ist. Die Menschen haben sich stets geängstigt und geplagt; sie haben sich untereinander gequält und gemartert; sie haben sich und den anderen das bißchen Leben sauer gemacht, und die Schönheit der Welt und die Süßigkeit des Daseins, welche die schöne Welt ihnen darbietet, weder zu achten noch zu genießen vermocht. Nur wenigen ist es bequem und erfreulich geworden. Die meisten haben wohl, wenn sie das Leben eine Zeitlang mitgemacht hatten, lieber hinausscheiden als von neuem beginnen mögen. Was ihnen noch etwa einige Anhänglichkeit an das Leben gab oder gibt, das war und ist die Furcht vor dem Sterben. So ist es; so ist es gewesen; so wird es wohl auch bleiben. Das ist nun einmal das Los der Menschen. Was brauchen wir weiter Zeugnis?“
