…is a quote I strongly refer to. I like to enjoy with all my senses, being in the moment and taking my time. It’s a pure celebration of life itself, it’s my celebration and expression of being alive.

I am passionate about food. I don’t need any special fancy food, most important is to have it all homemade and of good quality. I don’t taste my dishes in advance, I cook by sensing and smelling the ingredients. I love to buy fresh and good quality ingredients. I love the smell of it. I usually don’t cook by recipe, I cook by heart. What ever I learned through my family, traveling, cooking with friends and vising restaurants – I keep the ideas in my head and simply cook and create. I do love to spend time on cooking for and with friends. I even prepared big buffets/finger food for parties. I never took it to a professional level. I guess, I always took my ability and pleasure in terms of cooking for granted. It remains my passion, though I’m keeping it on a hobby level.
When I get to know new people and visit them at home, I have a secret eye on their kitchen. Most of the time it’s easy to see, who is passionate about food as well or who rarely uses it’s own kitchen.
I have to admit that I don’t like to cook for people, who doesn’t care about food and can’t enjoy it.

As far as food porn in movies is concerned, I have to admit that I totally love! I love the aesthetic, the ideas, the celebration. To me, cooking and a homemade dish is pure soulfood.

I liked the idea of “Eat Pray Love” and “Soulfood” and I’m certainly in love with the movie “Chocolat”. Further to this,I enjoy documentaries about traditional cooking in various countries, farmers markets and I always loved watching Anthony Bourdain.

…ist ein Zitat, mit dem ich mich komplett identifiziere. Ich mag es, mit allen Sinnen zu genießen, im Moment zu sein und mir Zeit zu nehmen. Es ist eine reine Feier des Lebens selbst, es ist meine Feier und Ausdruck des Lebens.

Ich bin leidenschaftlich in Bezug auf Essen. Ich brauche kein besonderes, extravagantes Essen, das Wichtigste ist, dass alles hausgemacht und von guter Qualität ist. Ich probiere meine Gerichte nicht im Voraus, ich koche, indem ich die Zutaten spüre und rieche. Ich liebe es, frische und qualitativ hochwertige Zutaten zu kaufen. Ich liebe diesen Geruch. Ich koche normalerweise nicht nach Rezept, ich koche mit dem Herzen/auswendig. Was auch immer ich durch meine Familie gelernt habe, durch Reisen, Kochen mit Freunden und Besuchen von Restaurants – ich behalte die Ideen im Kopf und koche und kreiere einfach. Ich liebe es für und mit Freunden zu kochen. Ich habe sogar große Buffets/Fingerfood für Partys vorbereitet. Ich habe es nie auf ein professionelles Niveau gebracht. Ich denke, ich habe dazu meine Fähigkeiten und meine Liebe am Kochen immer als selbstverständlich angesehen. Es bleibt meine Leidenschaft, wenngleich ich es auf Hobbyebene halte.
Wenn ich neue Leute kennenlerne und sie zu Hause besuche, habe ich ein unauffälliges Auge auf ihre Küche. Meistens ist leicht zu erkennen, wer sich ebenfalls für Essen begeistert oder wer selten seine eigene Küche benutzt. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich nicht gerne für Leute koche, die sich nicht für Essen interessieren und es nicht genießen können.

Was Food-Pornos in Filmen betrifft, diese liebe ich total! Ich liebe die Ästhetik, die Ideen, die Feier. Kochen und ein hausgemachtes Gericht sind für mich reines Soulfood.

Ich mochte die Idee von “Eat Pray Love” und “Soulfood”, und ich bin auf jeden Fall auch in den Film “Chocolat” verliebt. Darüber hinaus mag ich Dokumentarfilme über traditionelles Kochen in verschiedenen Ländern und auf Bauernmärkten, und ich habe es immer geliebt, Anthony Bourdain zu sehen.

    Hab den Rat von L. befolgt. Auf ein Blatt Papier Liebe geschrieben und auf ein anderes das Wort Porno. Bin dann mit der Hand drüber. Das Blatt mit dem Wort Porno ging in Flammen auf und Lucifer erschien vor meiner Iris. 😂😂😂😂

    Ich bin Italienerin…wir machen uns den ganzen Tag, Gedanken um’s Essen :-). Meine Mutter ist Köchin und meine Elltern haben 50 Jahre ein sehr gutes Restaurant geführt. Nun sind sie seit zwei Jahre in ihrer “Abendsonne” und können auch das sehr genießen.

    Ich bin mir sicher, dass du eine absolute Genießerin bist, die Bilder sehen toll aus, die Gerichte sind sehr liebevoll zubereitet – auf den Fotos gut zu erkennen…
