The Mystery Blogger Award || Nomination

I am bouncing around like a little child, all excited as I got nominated for another blog award. The nomination was presented to me by Karmen of www.ichkreierealsobinich.com. Thank you very much, dear Karmen. I appreciate it and gladly accept my nomination for the Mystery Blogger Award. Please visit Karmen’s blog and have a second thought on creativity->

It’s the second time I’m honored with the Mystery Blogger Award. I first was honored by Beth of Pilgrimage Studio back in last summer. I’m happy I still got some secrets to share and people, who patiently remain with me…

I doubt I am a mystery. I feel pretty much like being an open book. I’ve always been like that. I enjoy sharing words and so much more and you are very welcome to join me on this travel through life.

Here we go and it’s all about me, myself and I.

3 things about myself:

  • I’m not the girlie girl type and never liked pink.
  • I was kissed by a superstar once. It was a really hot and older man, I was sweet sixteen and I did not kiss back.
  • I’m not scared to embarrass myself.
  • A previous post of mine, that I’d like to point out:

MY 5 ANswers:

What is your favourite childhood memory?

A lot of my memories are tied to music. My favorite childhood memory is discovering my love for music in many ways. I remember watching the Life Aid Festival with a life appearance of Madonna. I told my mom I can’t be her daughter and must have been adopted. I fell in love with Madonna that day and decided she’s my mother.

I remember sitting in front of the radio, listening and trying to tape my favorite songs. Watching Hitparade with the whole family. Thinking I can become a famous singer myself. Creating Miniplayback-Shows for friends and family. Seeing various bands performing on small stages. I won’t forget how much I loved this one: The Equals – Viva Bobby Joe

Or being in love with Peter Kraus and his Kitty Cat.

I always loved music of the 50ties and 60ties. I love Rock’N’Roll. My true passion, that later became part of my working career. Music is my first love…

What is the most inspiring thing on your To-Do-List?

Aging proudly. Staying young at heart. Discovering life with the eyes of a child. Love like it’s the first time. I feel very blessed with the life I’m living, the challenges I took and experiences I made. Right now I see one big thing and I gotta say it loud again, it’s aging with pride. I don’t wanna live a life that mostly contains looking into the past or the future. It is “here and now”. Right now I enjoy my own creativity, using it to express myself and maybe finding the next big thing for myself. I still have to figure out what being a love guru means and how to live of it.

What is your characteristic that you want to be known and loved for?

For lighting up the room by sharing a smile. Easy like that.

If you were guaranteed 100% success – what would you choose to do?

I’d travel through time and space and would look at my life from different perspectives. I’m sure there is a lot more to learn and it sure would help to see the bigger picture and to make the next step to another dimension.

And here is the funny question: write us a funny joke or cartoon that includes at least one animal, please!

Warning – I do have a strange sense of humor. I always loved this joke:

The original German Version: Sitzen zwei Spiegeleier auf einer Parkbank und stricken. Kommt eine Kuh vorbei geflogen. Sagt das eine Spiegelei zum anderen: „Also Sachen gibt’s, die gibt’s ja gar nicht!“

Two fried eggs are sitting on a park bench and knit. A cow is flying by. Says one fried egg to the other: “There are things, that aren’t existing!“

My Nominations:

I’d like to read more of them, which is why I need to pass on The Mystery Blogger Award to:

I worked in the music business for almost 20 years. It was an hobby at first to visit concerts, taking photos, writing articles. Later I was lucky to do some interviews with a couple of artists.

My first real job was in a promoters office, organizing concerts all over Germany. I worked for a record label too. Further I worked as part of a management team for artists and put my heart to marketing and distribution as well. I always enjoyed looking at the career as a whole thing. It needs all parties involved doing an excellent job, in order to be successful. Therefore it was good to have worked in different fields. Unfortunately, one thing I left out is the field of “publishing”… but that’s fine. I loved my profession, but it had an “expiration date”… at some point I noticed it’s time to move on as I did not want to loose my passion on music.
