Sounds familiar, doesn’t it!? It is a quote taken out of the movie “Matrix“.
As I wrote my blog about burnout as a personal concern, this movie popped into my mind. I’ll leave any conclusion on this up to you…
I came across various other blogs on burnout and depression and in order to participate in a current “Blogparade“, I wrote the article “Sollbruchstelle Burnout”.

Als ich meinen Blog zum Thema Burnout und meinen persönliche Erfahrungen damit schrieb, ist mir dieser Kinofilm wieder eingefallen. Schlussfolgerung dazu lasse ich einfach mal offen…

There´s this legend that Keanu Reeves once said ‘Matrix’ is not a movie, but a documentation.
And there´s probably a lot of truth in this message…
Our system, our “matrix”, is just so messed up.
But since everyone is born into it, it is the status quo.
Considering other, better concepts of this machinery are too easily labeled as an utopia…
Let´s see where this will lead us. *Sigh*
